And if you already know you’re ready? We can begin dreaming and planning together right then and there. Every journey unfolds differently, and from the very beginning, we allow the process to move at a pace that feels right for you.

Sometimes, by the end of our Discovery Call, we already have a beautiful sense of what you’re envisioning for Egypt and can begin bringing your itinerary to life. Other times, another conversation feels right.

If so, we’ll meet again on Zoom to dive a little deeper into the places calling to you, the experiences you’re seeking, your travel style and the details that will shape your journey. Whether we need this second conversation depends entirely on you, how much we explored during our first call and how much time has passed since we last connected.

These early conversations give us the foundation to thoughtfully design your journey in detail from the very beginning—allowing us to create an itinerary that truly reflects you and provide the most accurate investment quote possible.

Once we know we’re moving forward together and have a clear understanding of what you’re dreaming of, we’ll begin weaving everything we’ve discussed into the first draft of your personalized Egypt itinerary.

We’ll send your itinerary by email along with your detailed journey investment, thoughtfully based on the experiences, accommodations, transportation and details we’ve created together.

From there, nothing is set in stone just yet. Take some time to sit with it, imagine yourself in the journey and let us know what feels right—or what you’d like to explore a little differently. We can continue the conversation by email or meet again on Zoom to answer questions, refine details and make any adjustments before you officially secure your journey with Takemet.

This is where everything we’ve been dreaming about together begins to take shape.

Once your itinerary feels right and you’re ready to say yes to Egypt—and yes to Takemet—it’s time to officially make your journey ours to create together.

A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your travel dates exclusively with us. Because we reserve this time specifically for you, we’re unable to hold dates without your deposit, and we always recommend personal travel insurance to help protect your investment.

But securing your dates doesn’t mean every detail has to be set in stone. Your journey can continue to evolve as Egypt gets closer. If inspiration strikes, plans shift or there’s something you’d love to add or change, we’ll continue refining your itinerary together. Any additions or adjustments to your journey investment will simply be reflected in your final payment, due one month before your arrival in Egypt.

Once your dates are officially ours, we’ll also create your private Takemet WhatsApp group—your direct connection to us throughout the months leading up to your journey. Bring us your questions, ideas, excitement, curiosities and all those little “What about this?” moments along the way.

From the moment you say yes, you are not simply waiting for a tour to begin. We’re in this with you. You’ll have as much connection and support as you want—from preparing for Egypt, to the moment you land, throughout your journey, and until you are safely home again carrying a little piece of Egypt with you.

One month before your arrival, your final journey payment is due. This gives us the time we need to secure and finalize all the beautiful details, experiences and little extras we’ve thoughtfully chosen together along the way.

Around this time, we also invite you to join us for an optional pre-journey Zoom chat—and it has become one of our favorite conversations with our guests. This is our chance to connect face-to-face once more, answer those last-minute questions and talk through everything from arriving in Egypt and what to expect while you’re here to practical travel tips and packing recommendations.

And for our ladies, this conversation can be especially fun—we can talk clothing, what to pack, what you’ll actually want to wear, cultural considerations and all those little details that are much easier to chat about together.
