TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last Updated: September 2026
Welcome to Takemet Tours.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Takemet Tours website, www.takemettours.com (the “Website”), including the information, content, features, forms and other services made available through the Website.
Throughout these Terms, “Takemet Tours,” “Takemet,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Takemet Tours, a business registered in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
By accessing or using our Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the Website.
Please note that these Terms govern use of our Website. Travel services booked with Takemet Tours are also subject to a separate Client Travel Agreement and the specific itinerary, pricing and terms provided for your journey. In the event of a conflict regarding a booked journey, the signed Client Travel Agreement will control.
1. ABOUT TAKEMET TOURS
Takemet Tours is a U.S.-based boutique travel business specializing in private, customized journeys throughout Egypt.
We create highly personalized travel experiences designed around each guest's interests, travel style, pace and vision.
The journeys, experiences, sample itineraries and other travel information displayed on our Website are intended to introduce you to our approach to travel and the possibilities available when creating a journey with us.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, sample itineraries are provided for inspiration only and are not fixed tour packages, guaranteed itineraries or offers at a specific price.
Every Takemet journey is designed individually based on factors including your interests, travel style, group size, travel dates, desired experiences, accommodations, availability and other preferences.
2. WEBSITE USE
You may use this Website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.
By using the Website, you agree not to:
Use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized purpose;
Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
Introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or related systems;
Copy, reproduce, republish or commercially exploit Website content without our written permission;
Misrepresent your identity or intentionally provide false information through our forms;
Use automated tools, scraping technology or similar methods to collect Website content or information without our written permission; or
Use the Takemet Tours name, photographs, branding, content or intellectual property in a manner that suggests an affiliation, partnership or endorsement that does not exist.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the Website if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. TRAVEL INQUIRIES & DISCOVERY CALLS
Submitting an inquiry, completing a Website form, joining our email list, communicating with us or participating in a Discovery Call does not create a booking or guarantee travel dates, pricing, accommodations, transportation, guides or any particular experience.
A journey is considered confirmed only after the booking requirements communicated by Takemet Tours have been completed, including execution of any required Client Travel Agreement and receipt of the applicable deposit.
Availability may change until a booking is formally confirmed.
Private Luxor guiding, last-minute inquiries and other short-notice experiences are always subject to availability. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee that Takemet Tours or a particular guide will be available.
4. TRAVEL BOOKINGS & CLIENT TRAVEL AGREEMENT
When you choose to book a journey with Takemet Tours, you may be required to enter into a separate Client Travel Agreement.
That agreement may address matters including:
Your customized itinerary;
Journey investment and payment schedule;
Deposits;
Cancellations and refunds;
Changes to your journey;
Accommodations;
Transportation;
Guides and activities;
Meals and other inclusions;
Travel insurance;
Traveler responsibilities;
Force majeure and circumstances beyond our reasonable control; and
Other terms specific to your journey.
Your signed Client Travel Agreement governs your actual travel booking.
Nothing on this Website should be interpreted as replacing or modifying the terms of a signed Client Travel Agreement.
5. SAMPLE ITINERARIES
We love showing you what is possible in Egypt.
The sample journeys appearing on our Website are examples intended to inspire ideas for your own experience.
They are not guaranteed schedules or fixed packages.
Sites, accommodations, restaurants, activities, transportation methods and experiences shown in sample itineraries may change based on availability, season, operating schedules, government regulations, site closures, weather, local conditions, traveler preferences or other circumstances.
We reserve the right to update, modify or remove sample itineraries and Website content at any time.
Your actual journey will be based on the itinerary and arrangements created specifically for you.
6. TRAVEL INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to provide helpful and accurate information about traveling in Egypt.
However, travel conditions can change.
Opening hours, admission policies, transportation schedules, government regulations, visa and entry requirements, health requirements, site access, permits, weather conditions, security conditions and other travel-related information may change without notice.
Information provided on this Website is general in nature and should not be relied upon as legal, medical, immigration, security or other professional advice.
Travelers remain responsible for ensuring they meet applicable passport, visa, entry, health and governmental requirements for their individual circumstances.
7. TRAVEL RISKS
Travel naturally involves risks and uncertainties.
Conditions may be affected by weather, transportation delays or cancellations, governmental actions, political events, public-health concerns, natural events, site closures, local conditions and other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Takemet Tours.
We strongly recommend that travelers obtain appropriate personal travel insurance for their journey.
Specific responsibilities, assumptions of risk and terms relating to a booked journey may also be addressed in your Client Travel Agreement.
8. THIRD-PARTY TRAVEL PROVIDERS
Creating a journey through Egypt may involve independent third parties, including hotels, airlines, transportation companies, cruise operators, restaurants, activity providers, photographers, site operators and other travel or service providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these businesses operate independently from Takemet Tours.
Takemet Tours does not own or control independent third-party providers merely because their services are included in or recommended as part of a journey.
Specific responsibilities concerning third-party services included in a booked journey may be addressed in your Client Travel Agreement.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Website and its original content—including text, written copy, sample itineraries, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, branding, designs and other materials—are owned by or appropriately licensed to Takemet Tours and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Our Website is intended to inspire your travels.

Where applicable, our use of guest photographs, videos, testimonials or other media is governed by permissions provided by the individuals involved, including any separate photo or media release agreement.
Website visitors may not download, reproduce, republish or commercially use photographs, videos or other media featuring our guests without appropriate permission.
11. TESTIMONIALS

Takemet Tours is not responsible for the content, security, availability or privacy practices of independent third-party websites or platforms.
15. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY & ACCURACY
We genuinely want the information on our Website to be helpful, accurate and current.
However, we cannot guarantee that every piece of information will always be complete, current or error-free.
We may update, correct, modify or remove Website content at any time without notice.
We also cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Website. From time to time, the Website may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues, hosting services or circumstances beyond our control.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Takemet Tours makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Website's continuous availability, accuracy, reliability or suitability for any particular purpose.
Nothing contained on the Website guarantees that a particular destination, property, site, activity, guide, experience or other service will be available for your requested travel dates.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Takemet Tours and its owners, employees, contractors, guides, representatives and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising solely from your access to or use of—or inability to access or use—the Website.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Liability and responsibilities relating specifically to travel services booked with Takemet Tours are governed by the applicable Client Travel Agreement.
18. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Takemet Tours and its owners, employees, contractors, guides, representatives and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Website, your violation of these Terms or your infringement of another person's rights.
19. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Any dispute relating specifically to a Takemet Tours travel booking may instead be governed by the dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions contained in the applicable Client Travel Agreement.
21. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
22. NO WAIVER
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.
23. ENTIRE AGREEMENT REGARDING WEBSITE USE
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other Website policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Takemet Tours regarding your use of this Website.
For travelers who book with us, your separate Client Travel Agreement and confirmed travel documents govern the services associated with your journey.
